Pursuant to the recent adjustment in DEFCON status and evolving international
developments, the Department of Homeland Security is directing an immediate elevation
in operational posture across all federal components and partner agencies.
Recent reporting and intelligence assessments indicate a heightened risk environment,
including the potential for asymmetric activity, disruption, or other actions targeting
government personnel, facilities, and high-visibility operations. While no specific or
credible threat has been identified at this time, current conditions warrant precautionary
measures.
All listed departments are hereby directed to implement heightened readiness protocols.
This includes sustained operational presence, enhanced monitoring of operational
environments and communications, and the maintenance of rapid response capability.
Supervisory personnel will ensure all units remain fully prepared, maintain situational
awareness, and promptly report any indicators of suspicious or coordinated activity
through established channels.
This directive is effective immediately and will remain in place until amended or
rescinded.
