The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is pleased to announce a major departmental reshuffle and modernisation initiative following the appointment of Secretary chedvn. This comprehensive restructuring effort aims to restore operational excellence, increase departmental activity, and strengthen the capabilities of DHS agencies across the organisation.
Since taking office, Secretary chedvn has prioritised rebuilding and expanding the Department’s foundations, ensuring each component agency is positioned for continued success. As part of this initiative, Secretary chedvn has nominated Deputy Secretary Will404 to assist with the ongoing departmental reforms and strategic development of DHS operations.
Special Response Team Restructure
The Special Response Team (SRT) has begun a significant organisational restructure under the leadership of its newly appointed Commander, Ape_1212.
This restructuring will introduce updated role structures, improved operational divisions, and specialised teams designed to enhance the SRT’s effectiveness and readiness. The changes aim to establish a stronger operational framework while providing members with clearer opportunities for progression and involvement.
Customs and Border Protection Expansion
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has undergone a major rework under the leadership of Commissioner EDATrident, resulting in renewed activity and an enhanced operational presence.
CBP has begun expanding its operations, with increased activity currently being seen at Washington International Airport. These improvements are focused on strengthening border security operations, improving member engagement, and rebuilding CBP as a key operational component of the Department.
United States Secret Service Renewal
The United States Secret Service (USSS) has experienced a decline in activity over recent periods, a challenge recognised by both department leadership and its members.
Secretary chedvn is committed to revitalising the Secret Service through the introduction of new leadership, increased staffing efforts, and renewed operational goals. This initiative will focus on restoring the agency’s ability to provide continued protection to the Cabinet of the United States of America while maintaining its wider responsibilities.
Launch of the New DHS Website
As part of the Department’s commitment to transparency, accessibility, and improved communication, the Department of Homeland Security has launched its new official website.
The website has been designed as a central platform for both the public and DHS personnel. Visitors will be able to access official press releases, public notices, departmental statements, career opportunities, documents, resources, and other important information through the website’s dedicated sections.
This new platform represents a significant step forward in modernising DHS communications and ensuring information is accessible to those who need it.
Moving Forward
The Department of Homeland Security remains committed to continuous improvement, operational growth, and providing a stronger foundation for all agencies under its authority.
With these reforms underway, DHS leadership looks forward to rebuilding activity, expanding opportunities for personnel, and delivering a more effective and unified Department for the future.
